MORE THAN 25 YEARS OF LOGISTICS EXPERIENCE
Thomas Heiler and Robert Mattern founded Cargo Movers GmbH in Rüsselsheim on 1 July 1998. They opened an office in Kelsterbach, directly at Frankfurt Airport, to manage freight forwarding operations. Both founders had many years of experience in international freight forwarding and had held senior positions at international logistics companies. Through their personal commitment, they built long-standing customer relationships over the years.
Today, Cargo Movers is an international logistics business that includes several companies in logistics and trading. Cargo Movers GmbH has its head office in the Blauer See business park in Rüsselsheim am Main (Königstädten), just a few minutes from Frankfurt Airport. It also has a branch in Ganderkesee near Bremen. Other companies within the group are based in Frankfurt am Main and Plettenberg.
Cargo Movers has also operated in the Netherlands since 2023. Cargo Movers Netherlands B.V. is based in Rotterdam.
The company provides tailored air, ocean and road freight solutions worldwide. Cargo Movers specialises in importing and exporting high-value, sensitive and time-critical goods, including food products, pharmaceuticals and spare parts for aircraft and ships. Customers such as Fresenius Medical Care, Fresenius Kabi, Coty and Condor rely on the company’s more than 25 years of experience and personal service.
